I've always been more of a TV show person than a movie person. I love a good movie, there are just more shows that I like. Here are some of my favorites.

• Attack on Titan

  Wow! If you're skeptical about animated shows, or specifically Japanese anime, watch Attack on Titan, today. Hajime Isayama paints tension, mystery, and scale into this story in ways you think you understand...and then he hits you with the brush. I still can't believe this was his first manga. The anime is even better than the manga with its score, animation, and more fleshed-out ending.
